Vacancy for School Business Manager

 

Start date: September 2018

Salary: Grade 8 Level 1- 4 (£25,882 - £29,199 per annum) reduced pro-rata

Package: Permanent; part time; 21 hours per week (47 weeks)

 

The Governors of St Aelred’s RC Primary School wish to recruit a suitably qualified, experienced, self-motivated and organised School Business Manager.  The successful candidate will be expected to manage the effective provision of financial and human resources including all aspects of the school’s resource management: annual budget planning, administration, support services, IT, premises and accessing of external funding.  Within the role you will be expected to support the Headteacher and Governors in the continuing development and improvement of HR processes and financial management and further the development of efficient administrative processes within the school.

 

The successful candidate will:

  • have excellent communication, problem solving and negotiation skills;
  • work strategically and innovatively,
  • have a high degree of motivation to be fully committed to working in a school environment;
  • have the skills to promote a positive image of the school through her/his work;
  • have efficient and effective working practices and develop theses within the school;
  • have the ability to work using her/his own initiative for this interesting but demanding post.

Package: 12.5 hours per week, term time only, Monday - Friday 3.15pm - 5.45pm

 

The Governors of St Aelred's RC Primary School wish to recruit an After-School Club Assistant to work in our on-site after-school provision. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic; show kindness and care to pupils; foster good behaviour; support and encourage children in their play and help them to be active and engaged; contribute to a positive climate; work collaboratively with our After-School Club Leader; and support positive relationships with parents and carers.
