Things that children do in nursery that you could do at home include: sharing stories and rhymes; singing songs; counting; drawing; construction (such as Lego); craft activities/junk modelling activities - cutting, sticking etc; baking; dressing up/role play/imaginary play; encouraging talking (explaining, describing, asking questions, making up stories). Nursery teacher be in touch from time to time via Tapestry. |
