On Wednesday 27 September, our school held our annual Harvest festival.
The children all dressed up in bright clothes to raise money for CAFOD's Brighten up For Harvest fund raiser. Everyone brought in a tin or a packet of food to donate to our local food bank. We also had some of our own school-grown vegetables ... grown by our gardening club who are lead by Jen Hurley - one of our parents. Well done team!
We raised well over £200 for CAFOD and sent a car full of food to the food bank! Thank you everyone for your magnificent efforts!
It was also National Fitness Day so we started the day with a 20 minute Zumba class in the playground for the whole school. What fun! Many thanks to another one of our mums - Emma - for leading that for us! What a great way to start the day!
