We currently have two part-time vacancies: a teacher post covering PPA/Management Time and a teaching assistant post in Nursery.

Teacher - PPA & Management Time Cover

Post: Teacher for PPA/Management Time cover – upper KS2 and Year 2

Salary: MPS (National Teachers Pay & Conditions Apply)

Contract: part time 0.4; fixed term for two terms 

Start date: 1 January 2021 until 31 August 2021

Closing Date: Friday 4 December 2020 – noon

Interview date:  Monday 14 December 2020

 

Job Description:

St Aelred’s is seeking to appoint an excellent teacher to teach classes to cover PPA and Management Time.  The successful candidate will be an inspiring and dedicated teacher who:

  • has good subject knowledge at upper KS2;
  • is determined to secure excellent progress for all pupils;
  • engages and motivates children to learn;
  • is cheerful and friendly and builds positive relationships with children, staff and parents;

Teaching Assistant - Nursery

Post: Temporary Teaching Assistant

Salary: Grade 4 (£6471 to £6711 actual gross salary for 15 hours per week)

Contract: 15 hours per week; term time only; fixed term

Work pattern: 8.45am – 11.45am; Monday to Friday;

Start date: 1 January 2021 until 31 August 2021

Closing Date: Friday 4 December 2020 – noon

Interview date: Tuesday 15 December 2020

 

Job Description:

St Aelred’s RC Primary School – part of St Margaret Clitherow Catholic Multi-Academy Trust (SMCCAT) - is seeking to recruit a teaching assistant (level 2) to work in our Early Years setting. The teaching assistant will be working with Nursery pupils, providing support for a pupil with additional needs, in particular. We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed practitioner who:

  • builds positive relationships with children, staff and parents;
  • engages and motivates children to play and learn;
  • is committed to children’s welfare and safeguarding;
