We currently have three vacancies:

  • Teaching Assistant;

  • Breakfast Club Assistant;

  • After-School Club Assistant.

Should you wish to apply for the Breakfast and the After-School Club roles or the Teaching Assistant and the After-School Club role, just complete one application form but make your wish to be considered for both roles, clear in you application.  Please note that the the Teaching Assistant post is not compatible with the Breakfast Club post because of timings.

Teaching Assistant - Level 2

Post: Teaching Assistant Level 2

 

Salary: Grade 4: £18,727 - £19,867 full time, reduced pro-rata; £9.71 - £10.30 per hr

 

Contract: Permanent

 

Start date: September 2020

 

Hours: Part time, `4 hours per week, term time only

 

Working Pattern: Wednesday afternoon and all day Thursday and Friday

 

St Aelred’s RC Primary School and St Margaret Clitherow Catholic Multi-Academy Trust (SMCCAT) are seeking to recruit a teaching assistant (level 2) to work within our St Aelred’s Early Years setting with Reception pupils.  We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed practitioner who:

  • builds positive relationships with children, staff and parents;
  • engages and motivates children to learn;
  • is committed to children’s welfare and safeguarding;
  • supports the Catholic ethos of our school;
  • has a fair, positive and calm approach to ensuring pupils meet high expectations of good behaviour;
  • has good standards of maths and English;
  • has an understanding of phonics;
  • is an effective communicator;
  • is cheerful, positive and adaptable;
  • will contribute to, and work collaboratively within, our enthusiastic and forward looking team.

Hours: Part-time, 5 hours per week, term time only

 

Working Pattern: 7.45am – 8.45am Monday to Friday

 

St Aelred’s RC Primary School and St Margaret Clitherow Catholic Multi-Academy Trust (SMCCAT) are seeking to recruit a Breakfast Club Assistant to work for an hour each morning alongside our Breakfast Club Lead.  We are looking for an enthusiastic and friendly assistant who:

  • builds positive relationships with children, staff and parents;
  • is cheerful, positive and adaptable;
  • has energy and understands the importance of play;
  • is committed to children’s welfare and safeguarding and to providing a safe and welcoming start to the day for pupils;
  • supports the Catholic ethos of our school;
  • has a fair, positive and calm approach to ensuring pupils meet high expectations of good behaviour.

Working Pattern: 3.15pm – 5.45pm two afternoons per week
